Tanner's Work
Designed, built, and operate a production platform handling scheduling, estimates, invoicing, and payments for a residential services business, as sole engineer and operator. Runs entirely on self-managed infrastructure: Node.js and Express API, PostgreSQL with versioned migrations, and a Progressive Web App front end with service workers and push notifications, deployed behind nginx as a managed service.
Impact
Implemented payments and security controls in production, including Square payment processing, TOTP two-factor authentication, CSRF protection, request rate limiting, and transactional email via AWS SES.
